Fist you need to see if the one you want is available. You can go to any number of Domain Name Registrars to check on availability. The most popular is Network Solutions. The reason they are so popular is not their prices, but the fact that they were first and hence are the largest registrar in the industry. AOI uses other registrars to register domain names since they are less expensive and more responsive. You can check the availability of a domain name right from our site using our Domain Name Query form.

After you find a domain name that is available, You need to complete our domain name registration / transfer form.

From there a couple of different things happen.

AOI will register your new domain name and point it to our server (unless you specify otherwise) and you will be billed a $24.95 initial fee (unless we are running a special). The following year about the same time as you initially registered your domain name, you will receive a renewal fee for $19.95.
